Radisson Blu Podil + Spilne Art

On September 8, the exhibition "Room with a view" was opened at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv Podil City Center, created by 5 artists of Spilne Art. The exhibition's focus is the transformation of space, where familiar objects may take on entirely new meanings. For 10 days, the artists lived and worked in a hotel, where they investigated how to find inspiration in everyday, utilitarian things: can discomfort be pleasant, and who wins — space wins artists, or artists win space, or is it a win-win situation?

Elmira Shemsedinova, Anton Tarasyuk, Ksenia Datsyuk, Zakhar Shevchku, Daria Glazatova took part in the creative process.

"It's important for me to make art achievable, so our art goes beyond classical galleries, and now - beyond classical workshops," says Natasha Tkachenko, founder of Spilne Art.

"We are pleased to welcome talented young artists to our hotel and help them share their creativity and vision with guests and Kyiv's citizens," said Kerin Weldman, general manager of the hotel.

The idea of a pop-up gallery in the hotel demonstrated that art changes the usual environment and creates a new meaning. This experiment opened the doors of the hotel not only for guests of the capital but also for citizens and became a space for inspiration and creativity.
